The European Law Students ‘Association is an independent, non-political and non-profit organization of law students and young lawyers whose history has been written since 1981.Today, ELSA is the largest independent law students’ association in the world, with more than 400 faculties in 41 countries across Europe. , bringing together about 60,000 students and young lawyers. In the Czech Republic, ELSA operates at law schools in Brno, Olomouc, Pilsen and Prague.
