PrímaLEX

PrímaLEX magazine is a student legal journal, which was established under the auspices of the European Association of Law Students Prague – ELSA Prague. The editorial office started its activities for the first time in 1998. The magazine is now published by ELSA Czech Republic and comes out once a year. From next year, the magazine should be published twice per academic year. Today, the editorial board consists of students from all four law faculties, composed of members and non-members of ELSA, who contribute their opinions, expert comments (very often with the cooperation of experts from individual faculties), they provide current interviews or just inform about events at the faculties. PrímaLEX works as an information medium for law students and young lawyers who like to write and can thus realize themselves.

The first issue of PrímaLEX was published in several hundred copies at the Prague Faculty of Law in March 1999. Since 2008, the PrímaLEX magazine has been published at all four law faculties in the Czech Republic and is becoming increasingly popular. PrímaLEX is not missing at any ELSA event organized by the association for members and non-members – at lectures, membership meetings, seminars, etc. The load has already grown to the current 3,000 printed pieces and they are often gone shortly after the publication.

Several copies are distributed to major law firms, as well as to several publishers of professional legal literature. Due to the fact that PrímaLEX is registered by the Ministry of Culture, you will find at least one mandatory copy of each issue in all regional libraries.
