The European Law Students Association is an independent, non-political, and non-profit organization of law students and young lawyers, founded in 1981. Today, ELSA is the largest independent law student’s association in the world operating at 432 law faculties in 43 countries across Europe, uniting over 69 000 students and young lawyers. In the Czech Republic, ELSA is located at the law faculties of Brno, Olomouc, Pilsen, and Prague.
