The European Law Students’ Association is an international, non-political, independent and not-for-profit association of law students and young lawyers, founded in 1981. Today, ELSA is the largest independent law students’ association in the world operating at more than 400 law faculties in 41 countries across Europe, uniting over 60 000 students and young lawyers. In the Czech Republic, ELSA is located at the law faculties of Brno, Olomouc, Pilsen, and Prague.
