ELSA Delegations is an ELSA project that will take you to international institutions such as WIPO, UNICEF, UNESCO or the Council of Europe. Within a particular Delegation, you can attend meetings and sittings of the organization. Each participant has the opportunity to participate in both the official and the unofficial sections and gain a deeper insight into the functioning of the institutions. As well as being an excellent part of your CV, it will also provide you with many valuable contacts for the future.
If you are interested in participating in this project, feel free to visit https://delegations.elsa.org/ for more information.
“In February 2018 I had an amazing opportunity to represent ELSA as head of delegation to the UNCITRAL in New York. It was an unforgettable experience – I was lucky to meet new people and learn more about mediation. I would like to encourage everyone to apply, you will not regret it! “ Kristyna Tran, Student of PF MU
„In April 2018 I attended the 51st session of the United Nations Commission on Population and Development in New York, USA as the Head of the ELSA Delegation. We were a group of 5 ELSA students from different countries all over Europe – Czech Republic, France, Italy, Germany and Serbia. It was an unique opportunity for us to see how the real United Nations negotiations happen. We participated in the discussions about the new accepted development act, we attended many really interesting side events about the topic and represented ELSA during the meetings with representatives of the member countries of the Commision. We enjoyed it very much, New York itself is a heartbeating city which never sleeps and I can say this was one of the best experiences which ELSA could give me.“ Vítězslav Traurig, Student of PF UK, Head of Delegation
