We are an internationally oriented independent law firm based in Prague with comprehensive know-how and a proactive approach focused on business clients. We see ourselves as an alternative to large law firms. We resemble them in many ways, because we have high demands on the qualifications of our lawyers and also on the thoroughness of our work. Our clients can thus benefit from what the flexibility of a smaller office offers them.
All partners of our law firm have been operating on the Czech market for 19 to 24 years, gaining experience as leading lawyers in international law firms in Prague in advising clients, especially in demanding corporate and real estate transactions.
Our office provides a complete service, which means that we provide advice in all important legal areas. The bulk of our agenda lies in commercial law with a focus on company law, real estate law, contract law, labor law, trademark and copyright law, antitrust and compliance law, as well as litigation and arbitration. In recent years, we have also paid special attention to information technology law and the protection and security of personal data (GDPR).
We advise our clients in all areas of their business, we support them in their domestic and international transactions, as well as in their daily work. Our clients are large multinational companies as well as small and medium-sized enterprises from a wide range of industries, such as banking and finance, automotive and machinery, real estate and development, energy, IT, services, retail and wholesale, hospitality and recreational services.
We have the largest German-speaking team on the Czech legal market, six of our lawyers are native German speakers. We provide legal services in Czech, Slovak, English, German, Polish and French.
We consider ourselves partners of our clients, who can benefit from our contacts in the Czech Republic as well as from our dense worldwide network of renowned law firms and cooperating partners from various areas of professional practice. At the same time, however, we do not compete with law firms in other countries, which appreciate this and regularly contact us.
Our office has been cooperating with law students for a long time. We allow them to look deeper into many areas of law thanks to the organization of students on the basis of the so-called pool system. This means that students are involved in projects with lawyers with different specializations. The advantage is that students do not stay in one or two areas of law, as is often the case in other offices, but gain experience in a wider range of legal disciplines. At the same time, they have the opportunity to see the entire transaction and not just a small part of it. We are interested in long-term cooperation, which means that a student who works for us will most likely be able to continue as a trainee.
