ELSA Day

ELSA Day is a project of ELSA International that takes place on the last Wednesday of November. On this day, all local and national ELSA groups organise a series of events on given topic, from pub-quizzes to conferences. This project is patronized by the Council of Europe, which receives a schedule of events from all local groups each year and then awards the 40 best organized projects. At the Spring 2019 International Council Meeting, the Czech Republic was the winning country.

Each year, all local groups across Europe focus on a specific and current human rights topic. In the previous year, the Right to Education was chosen and you can watch the footage of the events organised by the ELSA Czech Republic Local Groups in the following video.
