| Description | The Conference constitutes an evaluation of series of local, national and international events held within the framework of the International Focus Programme. The main idea of this project is to present current main trends in Intellectual Property Law as one of areas of law facing the most dynamic metamorphosis. Strictly connected with high technology development, IP Law regulations became an issue demanding a serious international debate. In order to provide a professional field of experience exchange we’ve decided to invite world-known specialists in the subject area, e.g. Dr. Silke von Lewinski (Munich), Dr. Duncan Matthews (Queen Mary College of London) as well as represents of the World Intellectual Property Organization, European Patent Academy, Council of Europe, European Commission, International Trademark Association and many others. Lectures will be presented within the framework of four following panels: Copyrights, Trademarks, Patents, IP & Human Rights. Each of panels will comprise breakout sessions evaluated during panel discussion. The whole conference will be summarised during Key Note Plenary on the last day of the Conference. The project will be crowned with post-conference publication. The academic programme will be accompanied by Job Fair and an exhibition concerning falsification of trademarks and products as an example of violation of IP Rights. Also the Gala Ceremony for participants and invited guests is planned. |
