We are a law firm that has been on the Czech market for more than twenty years. We have 25 lawyers and are part of the law firm family Taylor Wessing, which is spread across almost every continent. For the past 12 months, we have executed transactions for our clients with a total value of more than 25 billion crowns, of which Real Estate and M&A accounted for the largest share. Transactions in the areas of labor law, intellectual property and company law are important to us as well. Our specialty is also representing clients in dispute resolution and arbitration. Throughout the network of Taylor Wessing, we are also a major partner in the field of development and real estate projects, where we are achieving significant successes. Mergers and acquisitions are another important area for our law firm.
We are characterized mainly by the many transactions, which are processed within the cross-border cooperation not only within the entire Taylor Wessing network.

In the Legal 500 chart, Taylor Wessing Czech Republic was awarded in the Commercial, Corporate, M&A and Real Estate categories. In the IFLR1000 chart, Taylor Wessing Prague was awarded for M&A. In the IP stars ranking, Karin Pomaizlová, a partner of Taylor Wessing Prague, was personally awarded.
Last year the Prague office also announced that Karin Pomaizlová was well rated in the World Trademark Review 1000 in 2019 for outstanding services in providing complete legal service in trademark law. At the same time, in the World Trademark Review WTR 1000 for the year 2018, in the INTERNATIONAL category, the law firm in the Czech Republic won a bronze medal. This award has been earned for outstanding business know-how in providing complete service for trademarks and for close cooperation with colleagues in other departments. Intellectual property lawyers have been recognized for achieving specific objectives in this area.
In the last year we have been intensively involved in education and presentations and consultations in the field of data security within the Czech Republic.
In 2018, we also reopened our branch in the Moravian metropolis of Brno to meet the growing demands of clients and local demand for advocacy services. The branch has gained significant strength in two new experienced attorneys with local knowledge, who will focus in particular on developing relationships with current and future clients of the law firm.
