On 2nd November, the second Chair for the Guest took place in this semester, this time with the former judge of the Constitutional Court and a great lecturer of the Roman Law, Mrs. doc. Michaela Židlická. The event was held as usual in the Moravian Library and attracted a lot of our students.

To inform you about this special event in more detail, we've decided to ask one of the participants -  Markéta Třísková – what she really thinks about that. The interviewed one evaluated the evening as very pleasant and she added that she hadn’t regret attending this event at all. The interview is attached:

Was there anything what has surprised you in a good way?

I was really surprised how the guest approached her story, she didn't even forget to mention her granddad. It was both funny and truly sad. I even wanted to cry at the time she was telling the story about 22nd November 1989 when Marta Kubišová had given a performance with the song „Modlitba pro Martu“ at the Wenceslas Square, during the Velvet Revolution, after 20 years. Mrs. Michaela Židlická also amused us while she was describing the experience from the holiday in Yugoslavia. I think she motivated all of us to keep studying hard and at the same time, she made us to realize that we should be thankful we can live in a relatively peaceful time.

P.S. There is a link where you can find her favorite films which you should unconditionally see: http://www.csfd.cz/film/4863-mise/prehled/ and http://www.csfd.cz/film/35280-farinelli/prehled/

In one of the stories, the guest mentioned one of the experience while being the judge at the Constitutional Court - watching the film Avatar which didn't actually attract the third Senate of the Court. From that reason, we asked Markéta about that.

What do you think of the film Avatar?

I started watching it three times in total but I have never watched it till the end. I share Mrs. Židlická's opinion.

If you could choose another one for the Chair for the Guest, who would it be and why?

Miloš Zeman, I think this guest could also definitely attract all of those who aren't very interested in after-school activities.

We would like to thank Markéta for the interview. Most of the participants felt the same way and a lot of them would like to have her son, businessman Daniel Křetinský, or  someone of the faculty's academicians as another guest.
